The Professional Grade Alcohol Breathalyzer

The Alcohawk Pro breathalyzer is a extremely accurate semiconductor-oxide breathalyzer. This professional model takes a deeper breath sample from the user and provides more accurate results than similar models. A deeper breath sample will draw the air out of the bottom of the lungs, and into the AlcoHawk Pro to determine the users BAC. By ensuring that the user is getting that deep lung air, you will be assured that the AlcoHawk will provide you with the most accurate results available. This Professional Grade Breathalyzer is Perfect for many professional organizations for employee screening, emergency room care, hospitals, schools, law enforcement, and roadside testing. The AlcoHawk PRO is an unique & highly-sophisticated alcohol analyzer utilizing the variation of electrical property value of the oxide-semiconductor when the alcohol substance is detected. And, with the development of new ceramic material combined with relevant catalyst, it can selectively analyze the alcohol concentration to the ppm unit existing in the human breath. Our laboratory made it in developing the highly-selective semi-conductive sensor reactive to alcohol substance only, which can be differentiated from the other semi-conductive sensor products (which are often affected by the other substances like smokes and smells of food). Furthermore, it did improve to the large extent the standby, response & recovery time which could be crucial in measuring gas concentration.

When the oxide having the property of n-type conductivity is open to the atmosphere, it decreases the number of electron affecting on electrical property by the adsorbed oxygen and results in increasing the resistance. And, afterwards, if the specific gas (reducing gas) exists in the atmosphere, it reacts with the adsorbed oxygen and increase the electron in the oxide, resulting in decreasing the resistance. So to speak, the electrical property of the oxide is getting changed when a specific gas is exposed from the outside and our sensor can analyze the gas concentration from the variation of quantity. Mouthpieces are recommended and sold in single packs or packs of 100. Purchasing the hundred pack will save you approximately $10.00.

The semiconductor sensor accuracy is ą0.01%BAC at 0.10% BAC and is DOT / NHTSA cleared. The Alcohawk Pro is also 510(k) Certified by the U.S. FDA.

ONLY the Alcohawk Pro incorporates FlowCheck technology. FlowCheck will determine if enough air has been blown through the Alcohawk Pro before displaying a test result. An error message will display if the FlowCheck technology recognizes that not enough air was blown. In this case, it is recommened that the test be performed again.

1 - Used voluntarily, do not use if court-mandated.

2 - Most Police Departments will have the equipment to recalibrate Fuel Cell Breathalyzers. You may also download the Breathalyzer Recalibration Manual and do it yourself.

3 - The AlcoMate Premium (AL7000), AlcoMate Prestige (AL6000) , AlcoScan AL-3100 and AlcoScan AL-3500 breathalyzers does not require a recalibration service. Simply replace the sensor module every 500 uses.

4 - The AlcoTector breathalyzer has the greatest accuracy of all our breathalyzers. Fuel Cell technology can detect Ketones in a diabetic, and alcohol based mouthwash, and will NOT increase the BAC. So a person can NOT use either of these two excuses when tested with an AlcoTector

6 - The Drager/Draeger Car Breathalyzer will be sent to the installation center closest to you, or where ever you chose. A professional installer will install your breathalyzer. All you have to do is bring your car to the designated installation center. Installation fee generally is around $50-$150. It will be determined by the breathalyzer installation centers in your area. 7 - The AlcoScan AL-3500 breathalyzer does not require mouthpieces, but you are required to use a plastic straw to blow into the machine. 200 will be shipped with the unit. Any standard plastic straw will work when the provided 200 are used up.
