GeneTree card must be purchased with the following four tests: DNA Profile (GTI81), DNA Banking Service (GTI84), DNA Y-Chromosome Test (GTIB1), or MtDNA (GTIB2).
Gene Tree's DNA Identification and Banking Services are conveniently
structured to allow for easy ordering and specimen collection.
DNA based methods for identification are the most accurate and versatile
available. These methods are so useful that positive identification can be
obtained from sample sources such as: biological specimens (e.g., blood and
saliva), hairs (with roots intact), and licked stamps.
Once the specimens for the DNA Identification and/or Banking are received by
GeneTree, the DNA Identification Card, called the FirstClue GeneCard, will be
available between 2 and 3 weeks. Here at GeneTree we have specialists available
to help answer any questions that you may have regarding the procedure.
The 14 CODIS-associated DNA Identification Systems that are used by GeneTree are
recognized by the FBI and other forensic laboratories around the world. DNA
profiles are maintained in a confidential database at GeneTree, and are
available if ever needed.
This method of identification provides greater than 99% positive identification
by incorporating several methods of identification such as a fingerprint,
picture and a DNA profile.

prove or disprove genealogical research (ie. family trees).

3.) GeneTree DNA Banking (20 years) enables you to bank your DNA and your profile in GeneTree's secure database for 20
years
4.) GeneTree DNA Profile/Fingerprint Identification GeneTree DNA Profile Identification is a 14 CODIS marker DNA profiling test recognized by the FBI
5.) GeneTree DNA Special Specimen Collection Kit enables
you to perform a GeneTree DNA test using other types of biological specimens.
