The AlcoScan AL-5000 is a lighweight and easy to use Personal tester. Its semiconductor-oxide sensor provides your BAC reading at a very wide range - from 0.00 to 0.40 %BAC. A mouthpiece is required - just blow into the sensor and your BAC is displayed in seconds on the easy to read LCD screen. This model is easy to use and affordable. Mouthpieces are recommended and sold separately. You may purchase the mouthpieces one at a time, or 100 at a time. It is recommend to purchase them in packs of 100. The AlcoScan AL5000 boasts several new features, such as a cumulative test counter and specialized notification messages. The AlcoScan AL5000 is also smaller and more lightweight compared with our AlcoMate series of breath alcohol testers, and features a high accuracy level for professional use. The AlcoScan AL5000 includes large, convenient mouthpieces that can be easily replaced, as well as clear LED display and indicators.

1 - Used voluntarily, do not use if court-mandated.

2 - Most Police Departments will have the equipment to recalibrate Fuel Cell Breathalyzers. You may also download the Breathalyzer Recalibration Manual and do it yourself.

3 - The AlcoMate Premium (AL7000), AlcoMate Prestige (AL6000) , AlcoScan AL-3100 and AlcoScan AL-3500 breathalyzers does not require a recalibration service. Simply replace the sensor module every 500 uses.

4 - The AlcoTector breathalyzer has the greatest accuracy of all our breathalyzers. Fuel Cell technology can detect Ketones in a diabetic, and alcohol based mouthwash, and will NOT increase the BAC. So a person can NOT use either of these two excuses when tested with an AlcoTector

6 - The Drager/Draeger Car Breathalyzer will be sent to the installation center closest to you, or where ever you chose. A professional installer will install your breathalyzer. All you have to do is bring your car to the designated installation center. Installation fee generally is around $50-$150. It will be determined by the breathalyzer installation centers in your area. 7 - The AlcoScan AL-3500 breathalyzer does not require mouthpieces, but you are required to use a plastic straw to blow into the machine. 200 will be shipped with the unit. Any standard plastic straw will work when the provided 200 are used up.
