Reusable Lancet Device is an easy-to-use spring-loaded device with 5 adjustable depth settings that uses metal tips to puncture the skin to draw up to 40ul of blood. (disposable metal tips sold separately)

Five depth settings; easy to use. A Lancet is used in the medical field and in the home to draw blood used to test for cholesterol, diabetes, anemia, and other medical conditions. Our 28-guage universal lancet tips are needed. These tips ensure a small puncture to the skin and reduces the amount of trauma and callus build-up on the finger. This is best for small children and elderly people, the gauge of the needle will make it less painful.
Each area of the skin is a different depth, and each persons skin is a different texture. This chart is general estimate on which depth setting is correct for your skin type.
Helpful Hints
Do not hold the cap by the rigged section when removing or attaching. If you do, you could accidentally change the depth setting. Check that you have the correct setting before you press the trigger button.
Use the sides of your fingers to test your blood, unless your health care professional tells you otherwise.
Consider using a different finger each time you test.
You can improve the blood flow to the fingers by warming them. Lower your hands to below the waist level and gently massage the selected finger before lancing.
Keep the outside of your Reusable Lancet Device clean by wiping it with a soft damp cloth. DO NOT Immerse in water. The tip may be removed and cleaned with mild soap and water. Allow to dry before re-attaching.
If you are testing your blood away from home where it is not convenient to wash your hands, clean your fingertip with an Alcohol Prep Pad before testing. Allow the alcohol to dry before testing.
Using a lancet tip more than once will cause extra pain due to the dull tip, it is advised to use a new lancet tip every time to ensure a correct skin puncture.
The Lancet Gauge refers width of the needle point. The higher the gauge, the smaller the cut the lancet makes. Usually a higher-gauge lancet is less painful to use. (EX: a 28-guage needle will make a smaller cut than a 21-guage needle)
