Omron Healthcare, Inc. recently received positive reviews from two leading industry publications. Both of the publications, Drug Topics and Chain Drug Review included Omron on their lists of leading brands/products.
Drug Topics’ survey revealed that when it comes to blood pressure monitors, Omron is the leading brand recommended by R.Ph.s. It also found that R.Ph.s are doing more over-the-counter counseling than they did three years ago, and as a result, recommending monitors more often. The survey identified quality, price and personal use/experience as factors in recommending products to patients.
Chain Drug Review published its Top 100 Brand Survey; a list based on brand sales at drug stores, supermarkets and other discounters (excluding Wal-Mart). Omron made its debut on the prestigious list at #80. This is a significant accomplishment that underscores Omron’s continued strength in the home blood pressure monitor market.
