1. Can I import and export the Omron HEM-747IC information to an Excel spreadsheet?
Yes, you would go to File, open patients data information, then go to File, export, and then in file name put patients name. Save the information in designated drive. Open Excel, open file (yellow folder) go to patients name, open the information.

2. Can the HEM-907 be used with a patient receiving supplemental oxygen therapy?
It is not recommended to use the HEM-907 with supplemental oxygen therapy.

3. Can you replace the batteries in the HEM-747IC unit and retain the readings that are in the unit memory?
Yes, you can take the batteries out of the unit and not lose the blood pressure readings. The only time the readings are lost is when you Get the Data from Device, and send a new schedule to device.

The HEM-907 contains no mercury.  mmHg is a standard term for blood pressure measurement.

5. I could not complete the install of Omron IC Diskette Software for the HEM-747IC unit. The message stated additional memory is needed. How do I complete the install?
You need to download from Microsoft website for additional memory for the PC. Go to: http://Support.microsoft.com/support/downloads/DP2722.ASP. This information will give you enough memory to complete the install.

6. I received the message "Cannot Find Device" while using the HEM-747IC software. How do I correct this?
Go to Tools, Options, and make sure Auto Detect is selected. Unplug the cable to the monitor, then replug the unit in and make sure the unit is turned on before sending schedule to device. If you have palm pilot or hot sync make sure these devices are turned off. If these are turned on it will interfere with sending schedule to device. If you are using a Gateway computer you must attach the cable to the hard drive first, then install the software. You can also change the RS232 cable and if this still does not work, send the unit to our  repair department, it may be the blood pressure monitor itself.

7. I'm installing the CD-ROM version of the HEM-747IC program on my computer and it does not self execute. How do I correct this?
If this happens go to "My Computer" and click on your CD-ROM drive to start loading driver. After driver is loaded, shut computer off and start computer with Keyspan USA-19QW RS232/USB adapter connected. Be sure to wait till computer shuts down before connecting Keyspan/RS232 adapter. (Keyspan/RS232 adapter must be connected to the computer prior to starting computer. If Omron IC monitor fails to connect to computer, reboot computer with Keyspan/RS232 adapter connected.)

8. I'm receiving the Range Check Error message when I print the HEM-747IC reports. How do I correct this error?
First make sure all other software programs are closed. Be sure that you have all Components selected in the options screen. Go to Tools, Options, click on Report Tab, and make sure all component boxes are checked off and then click OK. If you still receive Range Check Error, you will have to print each window (Report) separately by opening each report sheet and then click on the printer icon.
