The SECONDARY USE of the GeneTree DNA Comparison is to compare to samples of DNA.
The DNA Comparison Kit is used for obtaining the most accurate method possible to positively identify special specimens. DNA based methods for identification purposes are the most accurate and versatile methods available for positive identification. These methods are so useful that they are commonly used by law enforcement agencies in solving crimes. A positive identification can be obtained from sample sources such as: biological specimens (e.g., blood and saliva), hairs (with root intact), and licked stamps.
GeneTree brings state of the art forensic services from the scientific laboratory directly to your home. GeneTree now allows you to be the ‘investigator’ with forensic services by testing such samples as gum, hair, licked stamps, blood and other body fluids. While special parameters apply to testing such samples, you can find if your suspicions are correct about the identity of someone else.
