The GeneTree DNA Personal Prenatal Paternity (Related) test is used for cases when two alleged fathers are closely related and only one is being tested.
The best way to understand how this option works is best explained by the following examples:
Situation #1.) If two different men are related and alleged to be the father of an unborn child and only one of two are being tested, then you should order one GeneTree DNA Personal Prenatal Paternity Test and one GeneTree DNA Personal Prenatal Paternity (related alleged fathers) test option.
Situation #2.) If two different men are related and alleged to be the father of an unborn child and both men are willing to be tested, then you should order one GeneTree DNA Personal Prenatal Paternity Test and one GeneTree DNA Personal Prenatal Paternity (additional alleged father) test option. You should NOT order a GeneTree DNA Personal Prenatal Paternity (related alleged fathers) test option.
