The GeneTree DNA Legal Paternity (Related) test enables you to test two related alleged fathers for legal purposes (with only one being tested).

This product is a test option for both the GeneTree DNA Legal Paternity tests. The best way to understand how this option works is best explained by the following examples:

Situation #1.) For legal reasons, if two different men are related and alleged to be the father of a child and only one of two are being tested, then you should order one GeneTree DNA Legal Paternity Test and one GeneTree DNA Legal Paternity (related alleged fathers) test option.

Situation #2.) For legal reasons, if two different men are related and alleged to be the father of a child and both men are willing to be tested, then you should order one GeneTree DNA Legal Paternity Test and one GeneTree DNA Legal Paternity (additional alleged father) test option. You should NOT order a GeneTree DNA Legal Paternity (related alleged fathers) test option.
