TECHNOLOGY: Advanced PCR DNA analysis
The GeneTree DNA Paternity Test determines the relationship between a child
and an alleged father. Provisions for testing the biological mother are included
with this test at no additional charge and are totally optional.
Designed to be the most convenient, confidential and qualified
method of determining paternity available, the GeneTree specimen collection
kit was the first to be used in the convenience of your own home. The
GeneTree Laboratory is an active member of the AABB Parentage
Accreditation Program and participates in the CAP
Proficiency Testing.
You collect the DNA when and where you want using GeneTree’s
proprietary GeneSwab collection kit, and send your sample to our laboratory.
Easy-to-understand results show you a 0% to greater than
99.9% probability of paternity.

Other Information:
Procedure: Samples are obtained from the child and the alleged
father (the mother's participation is optional, but strongly suggested). DNA
collection is done in the convenience of your own home by rubbing a cheek
cell swab (provided in with the kit) on the inside of the mouth. However,
DNA can also be extracted from hair, tissue, or dried biological fluids such as
blood or saliva for additional fee using GeneTree DNA Special Specimen
Collection kit. After the specimens are collected they are sent our
laboratory for analysis. The results will be available to you within 7-10 business days. Accuracy for paternity exclusion is 100%. Accuracy for
paternity inclusion is above 99%. The personal paternity tests are not designed
to be strongly supported in a court of law.
