Brief overview of test instructions: Use the towelettes to cleanse the area. Use First Morning urine for testing. Dip paddle in urine cup for 10 seconds. Pour urine in toilet. Place paddle on urine cup to dry overnight. Mail DRY urine sample to the lab same day as sample was taken. 
Note: Always read instructions enclosed with test kit for more detailed instructions
Diet restrictions required by test: There are no diet restrictions prior to conducting test 
Time before test results are known: 7-10 after lab has analyzed 
Suggested frequency to test again: BiAnnually if diabetic or history of kidney disease, Annually for most people

Accuracy of test: The correlation on 80 patient samples tested using the Kidney Screen At Home approach vs. testing on liquid samples in the laboratory when kits were used by patients was y=1.01x - 3.65; r=0.980; Syx=158 for alb/cre ratios up to 4500 ug/mg. - 98% accurate 
Sensitivity of test: If the detection limit is defined as 2 times the impression at low levels )10% CV at 30ug/mg alb/cre), then the detection limit for the ration is 6 ug/mg alb/cre 
Test precautions: Urine Sample must be dried overnight before mailed to the lab. Lab must receive in 10 days of urine sample. 
Test shelf life: 2 years from Manufacturer Date
