Using a swizzle stick, a straw or even your finger, place a drop of your drink onto both test circles of one test character on either the coaster or test strip. Rub gently. Wait until it dries. If either circle changes to a darker blue color, it signals that your drink is contaminated and should be discarded. It is as simple as that.
